We’ve all been to one of those “awful” REIAs…
The type where you spend an hour collecting business cards and listening to people complain about how they can’t find any “good” deals because the market is “too hot” or “too cold.” Then someone gets up in front of the room and starts rambling about how he “used to” flip houses but the stuff he did back then doesn’t really work anymore.
You drink three cups of stale coffee and get pitched a “seminar” where they’re going to show you how to FINALLY start investing in real estate… if you pay $900. (But, surprise surprise… it’s led by the same has-been who hasn’t flipped a house in 6 years. So who knows if you’re actually going to learn anything that WORKS.)
You leave feeling empty and depressed, with more questions than answers and a general sense of dread you can’t put your finger on. You find yourself wishing you could hang out with the people who are actually DOING DEALS, MAKING MONEY, and GETTING THINGS DONE. You know they exist… but you don’t know where to find them.
